Aviation Safety Expert Witness
Qualifications
As an aviation safety expert witness, I work and review depositions. On January 2, 2021, I retired as an Aviation Safety Inspector for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). I was assigned to the Flight Standards National Field Office-Certification & Evaluation Program Office at the time I retired. I have been an aviation consultant since 1974 and have testified as an aircraft accident re-constructionist and pilot expert during my career with the FAA and as a pilot during my career with Continental Airlines. My opinions are based on my fifty-six years in the aviation industry.
I have been employed twice in my aviation career with the FAA. From 2006 to 2021, and from 1971 to 1984. During this time I have performed the following job functions:
